Sligo - Exchange of Learning Day (PD Day) with Aisling Guirke

Aisling is one of Ireland’s most Senior Iyengar Yoga teacher, having been awarded the Senior Intermediate Level III certificate.

This year the theme is ‘Yoga for all ages’. The day will focus on exploring the practice of Yoga throughout life, starting in childhood and going all the way to old age.  The aim is to discuss ways of working with students at all stages in their lives, taking into account the various issues that may arise on this journey.  She will investigate teaching particular age groups, and take into consideration that many teachers have classes with a wide range of ages.

The event offers a great learning opportunity for all teachers and trainee teachers to share knowledge and experience in a friendly environment.

There are no required specialised hours for next year's renewal. Teachers are required to have 20 hours of in person learning which must include an EL day or a visit to RIMYI at least every 2nd year.
