The theme this year is ‘Pranayama’ and will explore how the asanas can contribute to the practice of pranayama. A selection of Yoga Sutras will also be discussed, and how they can be incorporated into our Pranayama practice. Teachers need to complete an EOL day, or a visit to RIMYI, every 2 years.

About the Event
Aisling is a Level 3 Iyengar Yoga teacher. The event, for Iyengar teachers and trainee teachers only, offers a great learning opportunity for all teachers and trainee teachers to share knowledge and experience in a friendly environment.
The theme this year is ‘Pranayama’ and will explore Prāṇāyāma through practical yoga, group discussion, and study of selected Yoga Sūtras. We will examine how different categories of āsanas support breathing practices, learn safe and progressive Prāṇāyāma techniques, and reflect on key yogic values such as friendliness, compassion, equanimity, and non-violence. Through collaborative activities and discussion, the day encourages a deeper understanding of the connection between breath, posture, philosophy, and equality within yoga practice.
The event offers a great learning opportunity for all teachers and trainee teachers to share knowledge and experience in a friendly environment.
Teachers are required to have 20 hours of in person learning which must include an EL day…
